Motul GEAR COMPETITION 75W140

Motul Gear Competition 75W-140 is a 100% Ester synthetic oil, engineered for ultimate performance in motorsport applications. Designed for use in motorsport differentials (mechanical, Torsen, or with/without wet clutches) and dog engagement manual transmissions (sequential or H-pattern), whether helical or straight-cut, it thrives under extreme high load and high-speed conditions.

Motul recommends the installation or upgrading of oil coolers to maintain stable oil temperatures, as failure to do so may lead to mechanical failure.

Gear Competition is a high-performance, competition-spec oil and is not intended for driver or passenger comfort. It is specifically formulated for maximum performance of your LSD.

Note: If your LSD has been running OEM or general service LSD oil for a long period and you switch to Gear Competition, you may experience chatter or slippage. This could indicate worn clutch discs or hot spots caused by repeated soft engagement with the previous oil. In this case, the LSD may not have been functioning as intended. To resolve this, either replace the LSD clutch discs or revert to the general service LSD oil to eliminate chatter.
