Motul Motylgear 75W80 represents Technosynthese® synthetic oil, a high-quality semi-synthetic blend that meets rigorous European standards. Its design aims to enhance gear shifting smoothness in gearboxes that tend to be challenging with a 75W90 gear oil. This oil is commonly sought after for compact front/all-wheel drive gearboxes due to the smaller size of synchro selector rings. Additionally, it's sometimes requested for larger rear-wheel drive gearboxes to achieve improved fuel economy. Its compatibility extends to various seal and yellow metal materials utilized in gearboxes. Even after undergoing the rigorous KRL 20-hour shear test, this oil maintains its xW80 viscosity grade. This test is known for revealing the thinning tendencies of poor-quality oils that fail to regain their original viscosity. Drivers will appreciate the enhanced shift feel that offers smoothness without compromising mechanical protection. Note: Motylgear 75W80 is designed for light to moderate-duty applications and is not suitable for high-performance scenarios. For high-performance applications in Front Wheel Drive, consider using GearFF LSD 75W90. In Rear Wheel Drive performance scenarios, opt for Gear300 75W90 or Gear300 LS 75W90. For IFS, IRS, and Live axle differentials, Gear300 75W90 or Gear300 LS 75W90 are suitable for high-performance applications. For extreme performance, rely on Gear Competition 75W140.
